      <image:title>Projects - The King of Mars</image:title>
<image:caption>is a funky, crispy, jazzed-up rock band that formed in the dorms of Columbia College Chicago in Spring of 2015. The rock-based lineup consisted of drums, bass, guitars, and vocals, but it wasn’t long before the band expanded to include trumpet, trombone, keys, and a totally new, unique, and ever-growing sound. Their hard rock style matured to include funk, jazz, and hip-hop influences, resulting in a rocking, danceable, and incomparable sound that features insightful lyricism and chilling three-part vocal harmonies. Having played shows all around Chicago (House of Blues, Subterranean, Bottom Lounge) as well as in cities all around the midwest and east coast, The King of Mars continues to capture the attention of new fans with their unique musical stylings and energetic live performances.</image:caption>
